This project consisted of an educational building including Sunday school classrooms of varying sizes, assembly/music area and administrative offices. The tight budget required intense review of building materials and methods.  The design helped tie the church campus together between an existing sanctuary and social hall. The brick veneer, wood framed building was designed to use locally available material. The site was an urban setting and very restrictive in area; therefore, the management of storm water and site access was important. Phasing of demolition and construction had to keep the existing facilities operational for Sunday worship.
